ABSTRACT This study focused on AKBC Radio Programme “Students Parliament” and Educational Development of Students in select secondary schools in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. The objectives of the study  were to find out the extent students in select secondary schools in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area listen to the AKBC radio programme “students’ parliament”, to find out aspects of the AKBC Radio programme “Students Parliament” that appeal to students of select secondary school in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. To find out what students in select secondary schools in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area gain from the AKBC radio programme “students’ parliament”. To find out the extent the AKBC radio programme “students’ programme” influence the educational development of students in select secondary schools in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. The study used a survey research design. A sample size of 350 was selected using a systematic sampling technique. The questionnaire was the primary data collected. Findings revealed that the AKBC radio programme “students’ parliament” influences educational development in Etim Ekpo Local Government Area. It further showed that the programme influence students in that it has helped them to read and improve their academic performance in school. Students should be told to always engage and listen to programme approved by the government and make necessary essays of what they learnt from the programme.
