ABSTRACT

Divorce, also known as dissolution of marriage, is the process of terminating a marriage or marital union. In study Divorce, Multivariate analysis was employed using Discriminant test. A primary data was used using questionnaires  for one hundred randomly sample cases.

The results from the analysis shows that the converted data to normality behaves very well. Further more, it has been observed that 94% of the data was correctly classify as Divorce and not Divorce Case by the Discriminating function. This indicate a very strong prediction capacity.

INTRODUCTION

Divorce, also known as dissolution of marriage, is the process of terminating a marriage or marital union. Divorce usually entails the counseling or reorganizing of the legal duties and responsibilities of marriage, this dissolving the bonds of matrimony between a marital couple under the rule of law of the particular country or state. Divorce knows very considerably around the world.

Significance of study

The study of divorce is a very important and significance study which will go a long way in either bringing peace or solving eradicating the problem and classify cases.

Scope of study

The research work tend to study divorce which cut-across different group of people be it ethnic , religion and gender.

Hence, the research work scope covers all affected couple irrespective of religion, tribe or ethnic. The targeted population are the separated home (Divorce home) which the questionnaire will be administer.
