INTRODUCTION
1.0 Background of the study
The project voltage regulator is an electronic and electrical device use to control and provide a constant output voltage. We also have automatic voltage regulator, it is use for providing a steady DC Voltage to an electronic load. this automatic voltage is mostly use in circuit design and construction this days.
The world we are now technology is leading, design and construction of smaller device, chip etc. Therefore the use of voltage regulator is very important as this smaller device and potable device consume less power and can’t make use of high voltage.
1.1 PROJECT AIM/ OBJECTIVE
- Construction of a Voltage regulator with multiple output, with a different Voltage level.
- Putting our ability to test by carry out the project work by ourselves.
- Creating a life time experience.
1.2 PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
The purpose of this study is to construct a device/ circuit known to be a voltage regulator, which can be used to carry out experiments on voltage levels, light and heat energy and as DC power supply for some devices and circuits.
1.3 SCOPE OF THE STUDY
The project voltage regulator constructed can supply voltage from the range of 1 volt to 100 volt, it can also with stand high loading, multitasking and both as a DC power supply.
