ABSTRACT

            Information technology has done a lot in the field of banking work. A lot of tools have been developed to assist in the banking sector. This project work is concern in the design and implementation of Integrated Banking Operation used in UBA of Nigeria Enugu branch.

            Integrated Banking Operation is essential to any organization. This has been previously done by manual method. But this project is aimed at Integrated Banking Operation to make the work easier. This is possible because of the advance improvement in information technology as pertaining programming language; because this is achieved by the help of visual basic programming language and other programming languages.

INTRODUCTION

Integrated Bank Technology (IBT) provides of some of the most innovative and powerful banking software solutions available in the industry today.  Integrated Bank Operation are truly integrated to provide financial institutions the ability to manage all of their customer, account, transaction, documents, and internal processes from one, single, consolidated source.   No longer will you need to duplicate data entry from one vendor system to another – including managing a different username and pass code for each system!

In addition to providing Integrated Image Teller, Statements, Check Proof of Deposit, IVR, Internet Banking, Document Imaging and more, one part of integrated banking operation, the Integrated Bank Environment (IBE) is the powerhouse application that brings all these applications together in one place, for you to manage and view your financial institution data in real time environment.  IBE facilitates the Integrated Banking Operation exchange of customer and transaction information from multiple applications to one consolidated database.  This enables everything to be tracked and managed from a single point of view – your desktop!

.           An integrated financial system that includes a single customer account that permits a customer to perform various financial transactions. The account includes at least banking components and brokerage components. A consistent user interface is provided to allow a customer to access the account from different sources including at least an automatic teller machine, a phone and a personal teller transaction. The account is flexible enough to include a variety of other components such as a credit
card component, a line of credit component, a secured credit component and a money market component. A system and method for opening a single integrated account for a customer in a single session is also described
