THE IMPACT OF EXCHANGE RATE MANAGEMENT ON THE GROWTH OF NIGERIA ECONOMY (2000-2016)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study is investigates the extent to which the exchange rate has aected
the economy between 2000-2016.Infromation were sourced from
secondary sources such as magazine news papers, CBN Bulletin etc and were subjected to statistical analysis using simple regression analysis. From the
analysis positive relationship between the two variables in question. I therefore recommend that the CBN should ensure sound financial transaction and
consistent exchange rate to encourage foreign investors. Also, government should strive to maintain political stability and sound scanty which are pre-requites for conducive business.
