GENERAL INTRODUCTION
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The impact of employee training on performance and productivity is the ability to perform and to give task effectively and translate same relative progress in the productivity level of Akwa Ibom State Water Board Company, depend solely on the level of experience and technological know-how which the employee has achieved in the course of doing such job. However there is a performance gap between a trained employee and the untrained employee.
The concept of employee training as put forward by Essien Obot in 1991 to describe the exposure of employees to program, skills, knowledge and techniques aimed at making the performance.
It also involves the exposure of employee’s perspective and effectiveness in the use of tools and equipment for enhanced productivity.
