ABSTRACT
The work focused on the impact of motivation on employees’ productivity in an organization using Akwa Ibom State water company as a case study. The researcher adopted a survey research design and employee a simple random technique to select a sample size of 50. Data collected were analyzed using simple percentage frequency table. After a careful study, the findings revealed that the impact of motivation on the company’s productivity is very high. It also reveals that workers in Akwa Ibom State Water Company limited are not motivated. The study recommends amongst other things that management should introduce a scheme that will help in analyzing employees’ expectations from the company and that workers should be well motivated to faster attainment of organizational goal.
