ABSTRACT
This research work on influence of ICT on modern day practice of broadcast journalism, (A Survey of broadcast Journalists in NTA Uyo), has the objectives of finding out how broadcast journalists in NTA Uyo are exposed to ICT in their practice, to know the various type of ICT broadcast journalists in NTA Uyo are exposed to, and to also know the effect of ICT on broadcast journalists in NTA Uyo. A case study method was adopted for the study and the population for the study was 40 Questionnaire was used as the research instrument. Â The findings among others reveal that computer, Digital Camera, Internet are the various ICTs facilities that broadcast Journalists in NTA Uyo used in the discharge of their responsibility. The study also revealed that quick information dissemination, elimination of errors in journalism, promotes of quick data processing are the hallmark of good journalism practice. The researcher recommended that broadcast journalists in NTA Uyo should employed information and communication technologies in all their operations for the total elimination of errors in their journalisms, Government should equip the research centers with current text books in other to promote efficient research. Finally, the researcher recommends that broadcast journalists should make good use of information and communication technology in order to promote the continuous growth and development of the broadcast journalism.
