RESEARCH TITLE

The title of any paper summarizes the main idea or ideas of the study. A good title contains as few words as possible to correctly describe the content and / or purpose of your research paper. The title is the part of the document that is read first. This is the most important element that defines the research study. In addition, it is of utmost importance that you avoid the following when creating a title:

• If the title is too long, it usually indicates that there are too many unnecessary words.

• On the other hand, a title that is too short often uses words that are too broad and does not tell the reader what is being studied. For example, an article called “World Politics” is so insensitive that it could be the title of a book and could literally look at everything about politics in the world. A good title should provide information about the purpose of your research study.

• In academic writings, catchy phrases or nonspecific language can be used in your research title if they are in the context of the study. However, in most cases, you should avoid including words or phrases that do not help the reader understand the purpose of your work.

• Unlike other parts of a university-level research paper

, titles do not necessarily have to meet strict grammatical or stylistic standards.

RESEARCH TITLE

The following parameters can be used to help you formulate an appropriate research work title:

1. The purpose of the investigation.

2. The scope of the investigation.

3. The narrative tone of the article [generally defined by the type of search]

4. The methods used to study the problem.

The initial purpose of a title is to capture the reader’s attention and highlight the research problem under study. If you need more help with your research project, feel free to contact modish projects @ www.modishprojects.com.
