ABSTRACT
This work was designed to study the trend pattern of reported cases of hypertension in Akwa Ibom State, using the information obtained from University of Uyo Teaching (UYTH) from the year 2007 to 2016. The aimed was to fit an appropriate time series model to the data. Box and Jenkins method of identification, estimation and diagnostic checking was adopted. SARIMA (1, 0, 0) (0, 1, 1) was found to be the appropriate model for the series.
