In this paper we present instructional activities for the concepts of limit, derivative and definite integral which were designed in the course of a European Comenius 2.1 project. The learning environments are designed so that they approach intuitively, through multiple and interconnected representations, the above mathematical concepts in ways that are consistent with the mathematical theory. Additionally, they take into account students’ previous knowledge as well as topics that previous research suggests causing difficulty in calculus courses. The material we present here makes use of dynamic geometry software that offers a function editor / sketch environment as well as tools appropriate for Calculus instruction. Some elements of teachers’ feedback in this material are presented.Â
