ABSTRACT
The study was carried out to examine the impact of biology education in higher institution of learning in Enugu State using University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). To achieve this objective, three research questions were formulated to guide the study. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentages and tables to analyze research questions. A structured questionnaire was used as the major instrument for data collection from the respondents in University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). After the careful analysis of the data, the following findings were revealed that; there is impact of biology education in University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN); biology education play a significant role in National development of Nigeria and there are challenges and prospects of biology education in University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN). The study was concluded with some recommendations that Nigerians must be ready to wage total war against corruption; it should be a war that everybody must take part in. There should be laws made specifically for corruption and this law must be enforced no matter whom the corrupt person may be. The law should touch every aspects of life; it should not be limited to money alone as it is presently.
