Abstract:
Christian persecution is a global concern that has garnered significant attention in recent years. This research aims to analyze the legal frameworks and international responses surrounding Christian persecution, providing a comprehensive understanding of the measures taken to address this issue. By examining the legal frameworks at both national and international levels, this study seeks to shed light on the efficacy of existing laws and policies in protecting religious freedom and addressing incidents of persecution against Christians.
The research begins by exploring the legal frameworks implemented by individual nations to safeguard the rights of Christians and counteract instances of persecution. It investigates the extent to which domestic legislation and constitutional provisions protect religious freedom, and the effectiveness of legal mechanisms in addressing acts of violence, discrimination, and restrictions on religious practices. Furthermore, the study examines the challenges and limitations faced by countries in enforcing these legal provisions, including issues related to enforcement, accountability, and the influence of societal and cultural factors.
Moving beyond the national level, the research delves into the international responses to Christian persecution. It investigates the efforts made by international bodies, such as the United Nations, the European Union, and regional organizations, to address religious persecution.
