ABSTRACT
This research study focused on design and implementation of immigrant information system, using Nigeria immigration service, Uyo as case study. This study is aimed to implement a system that will provide a better way of recording the information of immigrant that comes into the country and to design a system that will manage information that will enhance the services being provided by the Nigeria immigration service personnel. The study is necessary because the existing system is prone to unauthorized access to important immigrant information records by intruders and impersonators and General misplacement of immigrant management materials. The significant of the study is to design and implementation of immigrant information system so as to reduce unauthorized access of file at immigration office and Unlike the conventional methods that file are prone to decay, data will be effectively secured with new system.The research methodology used is systematic methodology and the programming language used for the development of the system is visual Basic.Net language and Microsoft Access as database.
