In order for any infrastructure to be in place, different professionals at all levels must work towards achieving the proper infrastructure for development.

Good road network is ensured from place to place, linking other community in terms of accessibility of some areas which may have been cut off.

Route surveying is always the first step taken in acquiring data before the construction of a road. It is a survey that is carried out to define and investigate the most optimum alignment of a proposed road.

The surveyor carries out its reconnaissance survey, makes observation and set out the road. This survey input is applicable in the construction of highway, railway, runaway, pipeline, power line, drainage system or any other kind of transportation or transmission route. Route survey is also a preliminary investigation that seeks to determine the best route and provide information necessary for the design of the route.
