CHAPTER ONE
- INTRODUCTION
A low voltage power supply unit is basically al unit that can supply a (variable) d.c voltage output according to the designer(s) specifications. In this case the d.c voltage output is 15v (full wave rectification). (The condition of a (variable) d.c power unit distinguishes it from the power supplied by the National Electric) power Authority (NEPA) or the likes.
BACKGROUNDOF THE STUDY (AIM/OBJECTIVE)
a low voltage power supply unit is designed generally for use in portable electrical and for electronic appliances, namely, portable radio, prano, charging of batteries used in emergency lights and also orders, and for changing of hand sits batteries its importance in battery changing is more obvious due to the frequent NEPA cut.
