INTRODUCTION

1.1    BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY

A person’s career is a sequence of occupations in a certain field of work, generally increasing in responsibility as time goes on. Choice Is the act of selecting between two or more alternatives, according to the Oxford Advanced Learner’s dictionary; anything that you can choose, the right to choose, or the potential of choosing. The fundamental reasons why people, especially young people, must pick a job are driven by both inner and external factors to the individual making the decision. Personal aptitudes and educational achievement, according to Bandura (2001), are factors impacting the process of professional growth. The philosophy of education in industrialized nations and other areas of the globe is founded, among other things, on the development of the person into a sound and effective citizen completely integrated into the society (NPE, 2004). Various countries have explored and implemented innovative educational reforms in order to meet their social demands, particularly the necessity to equip individuals for employment and make them economically and self-sufficient.
