ABSTRACT
This research sets out determine the Influence of New Technology on Radio Broadcasting in Akwa Ibom State in AKBC Uyo survey method was used and the primary instrument used in collection of data was the questionnaire. Data collected were analyzed using simple percentage. Findings reveal that new technology offer opportunities to strength many aspect of radio broadcasting and among others. This possible recommendation were put forth as regular bodies responsible for controlling radio broadcasting should help in protecting the broadcasters from being influence by the various technologies, and government should provide and expert for effective and efficient monitory of the radio to avoid imitation ones other organization.Â

INTRODUCTION
- Background of the Study
Technology in context is considered as indigenous capacity to crate, adopt, diffuse, and modify the hardware of mechanical development in Engineering, Science and Economics and its commercial operation (Nwachwu, P 2010). It is a technique and means for accomplishing require purpose.
Generally radio broadcasting is known as an avenue for message dissemination which is meant for reception by the public and not selected audience. It is a Mass Media since its means of communication uses technology to reach out to large part of the population almost simultaneously (Sterling, H. 2012).
