ASSESSMENTS OF UTILIZATION OF MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN MEDICAL RECORD SYSTEM ( EDUCATION PROJECT TOPICS AND MATERIALS)
ABSTRACT
This study investigates the hospital information system (AIS), The Assessment of Unitization of Management Skills and its Effectiveness in Medical Records System, University College Hospital, Ibadan, Oyo State. In order to achieve maximum level of accuracy and give a fair treatment to the problem under the study. The researcher adopted one method of data collection, which is the use of questionnaire. The population from which the sample was drawn for the study of the health management the selected hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State. The total population used for the researcher was one hundred (100) staff. The researcher’s findings clarified the relationship between health management and medical records in the hospital setup, and the solution to the problem is that every health organisation needs a medical records department that is organized and staffed to provide adequate information.

1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE PROBLEM
Health formation management, information is the lifeblood of the health care delivery system. The medical records, in manual or automated form, house the medical information that describes all aspects of patient care.
Physicians, nurses, and other health care providers require medical information for treating a patient. The medical record services as a communication link among care providers, and health care facility.
Medical records are important to the financial well-being of the facility as they substantiate reimbursement claims other uses of medical records includes provision of data for medical research, education of health care providers, public health studies, and quality review. They are two health information management professionals. Medical record administrators and medical record technicians.
Both use a broad scope of knowledge in meeting their challenge. They must understand the health care delivery system and the flow of medical information within it. Fundamentals of medical science are used to process the content of the medical record. Human resource management is necessary for accomplishing the work of the health information department and working with other in the health care delivery system.
