ABSTRACT
This research study “Communication and organizational management” the study adopted the use of questionnaires, simple percentage and systematic method for data collection and analysis, the study was designed with descriptive survey method. The objective of this study is to examine if effective communication influence organizational performance, to find out if communication influence the organizational administration and also to ascertain if ineffective communication affect administration in the institution. The instrument used for this study is a self-developed questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using tables and percentage. A population of 657 (Six Hundred and Seven) was administered with questionnaire and 80 (eighty) were found useful and use as the sample. The work shows that noise, time, climate and place are organizational environment which affect communication and poor planning, unclarified assumption, poorly expressed message and communication anxiety are the communication ineffective affecting various management levels in organization. The work recommends management should maintain a sound relationship between the workers and management and also consistent message should be sent to the workers so as to keep them alert. An organization building should be structured in a conducive environment. Timely message sending should be maintained so as to keep the workers updated.
