STUDENTS PERCEPTION OF WOMEN TRAFFICKING AS A SOCIAL PROBLEM IN NIGERIA (A CASE STUDY OF AKOKO SOUTH WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF ONDO STATE)

 

ABSTRACT

The study is an investigation into student’s perception of women trafficking as a social problem in Nigeria, a case study of Akoko South West Local Government. Two hundred and fifty respondents were randomly selected for the study. The study showed that women trafficking has significant effect on health situation and hinders economic development of the country. It was therefore recommended that a data bank should be established and countries should review their bilateral agreements.
