ABSTRACT
This study examined the effects of AKBC Radio in Political Mobilization of Oruk Anam Women, and it also point out and evaluate the possible factors that militate against AKBC Radio in its bid to enhance political mobilization of women. Survey research method was employed in this study. The total population of women in Oruk Anam was 86,417 and the sample size was 383, the research design used was stratified sampling techniques, questionnaire was use in gathering information. The findings revealed that AKBC Radio has contributed greatly in the enhancement of political mobilization of women in Oruk Anam. In view of the findings, the researcher recommends that Radio programming should give women information with respect to political affairs in the Local Government Area and State.

The background of the study looks into the Effects of AKBC Radio in Political Mobilization of Women in Oruk Anam Local Government Area. There are other communication channels like Television, interpersonal, newspaper and magazines; these are channels of information dissemination. But in view of how effective these channels could be used in performing the role of mobilizing women throughout Oruk Anam Local Government Area, in participating in politics.
