Abstract
This research aims to present the mapping of agritech companies operating in the Indian agricultural value chain. The research work is the first attempt to list out all the agritech companies. One hundred and sixty-three agritech companies have listed according to their area of operation in the agricultural value chain. Literature review on agricultural value chain actors has been done, and the research gap was identified from the literature. Agritech companies are operating or serving the ‘storage and trading’ and ‘distribution and retail’ in the agricultural value chain were found very less compared to other actors of the value chain. Hence, more number of agritech start-ups is essential for sustainable Indian agriculture.
