ABSTRACT
The study “Youths and Boki Development’’ examines the role of youths in rural development using the Boki experience. It is aimed at highlighting the activities of youths and their contributions to societal development in Boki since the mid-1990s which has been swept under the carpet. Using primary sources in form of oral history and secondary sources of both published and unpublished materials, we were able to unearth the immense contributions of Boki youths in the political, economic and socio-cultural development of Boki. It recommends that more attention be paid on the study of the youths in Boki in order to give them a deserving place in the annals of development as they have proven to be effective tools of development overtime.
